For today, IRE SPIE student chapter expanses the "geography" of its members and enlivens the "repertoire" of its events, becoming the largest SPIE branch in Kharkiv. We thank SPIE for support and encourage you to take part in the chapter upcoming event and join us to feel part of a friendly team and to achieve scientific success together!

Our IRE SPIE chapter has celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017. Summing up the 10-years period, we are very proud that the chapter has so bright history and unites the students, PhD students, and young researches from many Kharkiv universities and institutes on the basis of O.Ya.Usikov Institute for Radiophysics and Electronics of the NAS of Ukraine (IRE NASU) and B.Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the NAS of Ukraine (B.Verkin ILTPE of NASU).

Our members have been involving in the various youth outreach/educational and professional development activities since 2007. Over time, the student members' staff of OSA chapter "moved" completely to B.Verkin ILTPE of NASU. That's why this chapter changed to "ILTPE OSA Student Chapter" in November 2017 and got its web-page on ILTPE web-site.

The joined OSA and SPIE chapter was founded by PhD students of B.Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the NAS of Ukraine (B.Verkin ILTPE of NASU), O.Ya.Usikov Institute for Radiophysics and Electronics of the NAS of Ukraine (IRE NASU), and Institute of Radio Astronomy of the NAS of Ukraine (IRA NASU) as an "Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics (IRE) SPIE & OSA Student Chapter" in 2007.
